COMPASS is heavily involved with environmental support for private entities and developers, local engineering firms, oil and gas clients, as well as state and federal agencies. This support is necessitated by Section 404 and 401 of the Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. We have gained the experience and acknowledged skills to possess active federal and state scientific collection permits needed to investigate local flora and fauna including threatened and/or endangered species.
